Shayna Mitchell

Shayna Mitchell-Ross, affectionately known as “Godssongbird” is a captivating
vocalist with a powerful voice and a diverse performance background. Having
fallen in love with music at the age of four, music has always been a part of her
very essence.
Shayna has experience as a featured vocalist at prestigious venues like the
Gas South Arena and the Rialto Theater, uplifting audiences with her soulful
renditions. Her experience extends to religious settings, where she has always felt
a unique calling to help usher others into the presence of God. Shayna has served
as a praise and worship leader, a vocalist on praise and worship teams, and a
member of various church choirs. She currently serves as a member of the Change
Church Choir in Duluth, GA.
Shayna has also lent her talents as background vocalist for recordings and
graced the stage in theatrical productions such as the role of Sacha in Philip
Michael Thomas Presents: Sacha and the Magic Cookie Maker. Her powerful
performances have also been showcased at The Her Summit and the USPS
unveiling of the Langston Hughes postage stamp. Her educational background
includes vocal training at various institutions including Hampton University and
her achievements include being crowned Miss Black Georgia 2005 and receiving
awards in local and national talent competitions.
