Emily/Emmons/Miss Geranium City
Emily Emmons, Miss Geranium City 2027, is from Grayson, Georgia, and is proud to represent Henry County on the Miss Georgia stage in June 2027. This will be her fifth journey to Miss Georgia, having previously competed as Miss Fulton County 2023, Miss Irish Capital 2024, Miss Henry County 2025, and Miss Historic Gwinnett 2026.
Emily is a senior at Georgia Gwinnett College, pursuing her degree in Integrative Studies with concentrations in Business, Education, and Psychology. Outside of pageantry, Emily enjoys staying active and spending time with her cat, Anakin. She is also a member of Church on Main and is grateful for the role her faith plays in her life.
Emily is no stranger to the Miss Georgia stage, having placed in the Top 15 for the past three years. Throughout her pageant journey, she has received two Miss Georgia Stars, the Producers Award, Miss Georgia Gem, and Miss Georgia Gives Back.
Miss Georgia is part of the Miss America Opportunity, the largest provider of educational scholarships for women in the country. Service is a key component of the Miss America Opportunity, and Emily’s service initiative is Your Mind Is Your Business: Keep It Healthy.
As a passionate advocate for mental health, Emily’s message is simple: “It’s OK to not be OK, but it’s not OK to stay not OK.” She is committed to breaking the stigma surrounding mental illness and bringing hope to those who are struggling. Her dream is to serve as Miss Georgia and use her platform to elevate mental health awareness and education across the state.
Emily currently serves as a Youth Chair and Ambassador for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). She also partners with community organizations and elected officials to promote mental health education and awareness. Beyond the pageant stage, Emily has volunteered with local law enforcement mental health task forces, collaborated with community leaders, and supported student organizations dedicated to mental health education.
Emily is also a talented vocalist with a Broadway-style voice, known for inspiring audiences through her powerful performances in the talent competition. She is excited to share her talent at the Festival of Trees this year.
Through advocacy, education, service, and the power of her voice, Emily is committed to building stronger, more compassionate communities where mental health is prioritized and everyone knows they are not alone.
