Parkside Elementary School Chorus

The Parkside Elementary School Chorus is comprised of over eighty second through fifth grade students. This musical ensemble focuses on the fundamentals of singing, reading and notating music. The Chorus also demonstrates eight of the nine National Standards for Music Education. Parkside’s Chorus has performed at many events including Atlanta Gas Light, Zoo Atlanta, our Teacher & Support Person of the Year program, Winter Holiday & Black History programs, Spring Concerts, Festival of Trees, and recently they performed the National Anthem for the Atlanta Hawks vs Miami Heat basketball game at State Farm Arena. Parkside Chorus is an excellent way to get our students involved at Parkside Elementary School. Our Chorus students represent our school in a positive way as they work towards becoming better musicians.
